Jeremy against the Purge By Claire Wadey Good on Jeremy Corbyn, the first Labour Leader for many years to stand-up for members’ rights against the Party’s bureaucracy. As has been reported today, Jeremy has written to Labour’s General Secretary Iain McNicol, concerned that: “the online and press speculation around the reasons for suspension and how these are being dealt with are raising concerns about whether members are being treated in a consistent and proportionate manner… This in turn is damaging the reputation of the Labour Party.” [continue...]
