LRC @ Brighton Festival: Defend Free State Education 29th May 2013
- £4 waged & £2 Concessions
As the coalition government forces through the most severe cuts in a generation and corporate Britain defends its profit margins through job cuts and pay freezes, groups of workers are inevitably taking industrial action. The LRC has established a fighting fund to support protracted industrial disputes: donating to local hardship funds to support workers in struggle.
This fund already made donations, including to the Unite and Unison in Southampton, NUJ in Doncaster, Unison in Barnet, the Sparks dispute and to the Spanish miners. We are asking members and affiliates to support this dedicated fund for workers involved in long-running disputes. Please give what you can.
If you do not have a debit or credit card, you can still contribute by sending a cheque payable to 'Labour Representation Committee' to LRC, Fighting Fund, PO Box 2378, London, E5 9QU.
