Elections 2011: Labour must offer an alternative

People punished the Lib Dems for betraying their promises but while they were rightly condemned, the Tories got off lightly. This is because no party is challenging their central claim - underpinning the ideological assault on the public sector and welfare state - that it was public spending that caused the crisis and cutting public spending is the solution. Vote No to AV
