Clear evidence emerged recently that several major construction companies had been blacklisting workers for trade union activity. John McDonnell expelled from Commons for Heathrow protest

On 15th January, the Government approved the expansion of Heathrow airport and the building of a third runway. Local MP and LRC Chair, John McDonnell MP was suspended from Parliament as he protested the decision in the Commons, and Labour MPs Andrew Slaughter and Virendra Sharma have resigned as PPSs over the decision. [continue...]
