THE FIGHT GOES ON!!
Throughout most of 2011 Trade Unions, Community Groups and service users have been battling against some of the most vicious cuts in public services, benefits and workers pay and conditions brought in by the Con-Dem Government.
Over 1 million women and 1 million young people have been thrown onto benefits.
Women, young people and children are facing the brunt of these attacks but opposition is growing as the cuts bite harder.

Unite the Union NW & Save Manchester Sure Start Campaign have organised this conference because the Con-Dem Coalition Government will be pushing for even more cuts in 2012.
One of the key purposes of the Conference is to ensure there is a forum where Trade Unions, Charities, voluntary sector organisations, students and community-based campaigns can come together & share information, ideas, experience & resources to help build even stronger opposition to the cuts that so badly damage our public services and communities.
