Hello all
Wasn’t it great that Clegg could only defend himself from Jack Straw by firing the bullet that the Iraq war was illegal? I take it there is an enquiry going on regarding this. It is therefore possible, since Clegg can do it, to pre-empt the result of enquiries.
The Labour Party, with a lot of help from its LRC friends and other tendencies of the Left, needs to start a revision of its imperialist stance. Starting with the ‘illegal’ war on Iraq.
To all the comrades who are exercised by some aspects of backwardness in Iran I say: How come you have individuals in Britain (and other capitalist countries) who enter schools, or streets, and open fire on everyone?
Let us have a campaign in the LRC against the huge military manoeuvres headed by the US and Israel in the Sea of Japan, called Exercise Invincible, to frighten North Korea and threaten China.
There is a good likelihood that my readers will see this only after their holidays. It would surprise me, however, if the situation had improved by then.
Greetings, Marie Lynam
