Did anyone see Ed Milliband on the Andrew Marr Show on Sunday 16th January 2011. He said he ‘deplores’ the wave of strikes that seem destined to happen in the not too distant future - particularly if the strikes interfere with the Kate/Wills spectacular. , He also agrees with the Government that cuts are necessary (but maybe not quite as fast as the Tory/Lib Coalition). Similarly he doesn’t approve of taxing the rich too highly, and definitely (doesn’t want to see more than a 50p rate for those earning more than £150,000).

On the programme that followed Marr, a public audience rambled on about how we should all stop criticising bankers, and how if we curtail their bonuses they will all take their amazing skills abroad. Meanwhile, people with terminal cancer are writing on Cancer Charity Forums about how terrified they are at the prospect of losing Disability Living Allowance.
